Chenango-Hills Phoebe 6*M 7*D

(*S Doe-Sy-Does FS Fireblaze x Chenango-Hills Gabriella)

We are very greatful and honored to have added Phoebe to our founding herd. She was in the TOP TEN  for PROTEIN for AGS in 2013 and ADGA for 2014.  She produces a nice, sweet, creamy milk that our family loves! Sweet milk from such a sweet girl. Below are her milking stats...

Zanzabeez Blu SmokinHot DblShot

Chocolate Cou Clair with white

(Zanzabeez BB On A Blue Bayou x Jasper Pine Smokin Hot Cinders)

Tansy is a beautifully built doe that I am very excited to have as part of our herd. She is an CH Algedi Farm Smokin Hot Honey grand-daughter and CH Algedi Farm Drops of Jupiter great grand-daughter. I have been waiting to add Algedi Farm lines in to my herd and so glad I was able to add this doeling in from Drops of Jupiter lines! She is from a set of quintuplets and shows much promise from her pedigree. I can't wait to start showing this girl!

Capra Salato Corona's Contessa

(03/2016)

Gold with blue eyes

(Wooly Dog Down Esimio Corona x Chenango-Hill Pheobe)

Tessa has done very well in the showing as a junior placing 1st in every show. She has the length we love to see and rump angle we like to see on our goats. She is well put together and are excited to see her freshen in 2017.

Phoenix Farm Black Ice

(03/21/2016)

Black with Moonspots and Blue Eyes

(Castle Rock Iceberg x Phoenix Farm Deviant Bird)

Black Ice has some of the strongest most cosistent genetics in our herd. Those genetics did not disappoint with her first freshening in 2018! Her udder was balanced, soft, and easy to milk. She kidded with three kids, two of which were retained. Black Ice is co-owned with our friends at Hobbit Creek. We are excited to see how she freshens as a second freshener and eager to get her in the show ring.

Phoenix Farm Luck Be A Lady

(03/16/2017)

Gold

(Phoenix Farm Fire and Ice x Phoenix Farm Lady Bug)

Lady has matured nicely as a dry yearling. She has a nice spring of rib and has a nice wide rump. She is well balanced and has a beautiful face. Lady will be a first freshener in 2019 and will be hitting the show ring! Luck was on our side when we stumbled on to her. She has both looks and personality!

Lady is co-owned with our sister farms Brook Valley Farms and Hobbit Creek at the Shire.

Alethia HB Broadway Dancer

(02/10/2017)

Gold

(Algedi Farm MB Honeymoon Bay x Alethia M Tiny Dancer)

Dani came to us all the way from California. I have long admired Alethia Homestead's goats from the East Coast as she has many of the pedigrees I love when it comes to the legendary Algedi and Rosasharn lines. Alethia Homestead has been working on improving these older lines and has done very well! Her goats have the entire package; ring presence, conformation and beautiful mammory systems!

Capra Salato GR Honey Dumplin

(05/02/2017)

Light Gold

(J-Nels BB Gun Runner x J-Nels WT Friday Night Tango)

Honey is a bit of an odd ball. She does her own thing and never bothers anyone in the herd. She is line bred on the infamous J-Nels ER Dumplin lines and Algedi Farm DJ Drops of Honey. Her dam, J-Nels WT Friday Night Tango did not come in to her own and mature until after her second freshening. Tango is now owned by our sister farm Brook Valley Farms and has been doing well! She won Reserve Champion shortly after kidding! We look forward to seeing how Honey matures, even if it take a little longer than the other does in our herd.

Capra Salato GR Chimera

(05/11/2017)

Black with Moonspots and Blue Eyes

(J-Nels BB Gun Runner x Capra Salato Corona's Contess)

Chinera is a goof ball. She has buddied up with her half-sister Honey and they do their own thing on their own terms. Chimera is a long bodied little doe who has some growing to do as she is from a slow growing line. I have no doubt that once she matures she will make us proud. She has strong dairy lines behind her that are known for conformation and mammory. We look forward to the day this little doe freshens!

Capra Salato Black Irish Rose

(03/17/2018)

Black

(Phoenix Farm Fire and Ice x Zanzabeez BluSmokinHot DblShot)

Rose is a what I have been breeding for! She is WIDE in the rear, has a nice spring of rib, stright legs, tight feet and one beautiful face.

More to come on this beauty...

Capra Salato Black Bay Calypso

(03/21/2018)

Black

(Phoenix Farm BW Buzzards Bay x Phoenix Farm Black Ice)

Calypso has some of the nicest feet in my herd, something that many people overlook! Daughter of Phoenix Farm BW Buzzards Bay who has produced some beautiful daughters in his lifetime and is son to the infamous Twin Creeks BH Bay Watch. Combined with all the beautifully correct genetics from Phoenix Farm Black Ice and we are looking at one promising doe. We are eager to see how Calypso matures and see how she does in the show ring.
